Pin size air bubble in the side glass panel - Help

20170626_172511.jpg I purchased a new tank yesterday and un-boxed it today. While I was doing my personnel touches to the tank I noticed on the side panel a needle head sized air bubble inside the glass panel. It is a 125 gallon tank and new. Is this a structural issue ? Will the side blow out ? or nothing to worry about ? Store wont take the tank back for a exchange told me I have to go through the manufacture. Im under a deadline with this tank and any help would be great.

That's a manufacturer defect. I bet the manufacturer would work with you to get a new tank. So, I wouldn't set it up until you hear from them. On the upside, they might just tell you to keep it and send you a new one. Whether it is safe to setup depends where the defect is (i.e. how much pressure it will be under) the size/dims of the tank, and the size of the defect. Can you get a picture with scale?

I would call the manufacturer and see what they say before proceeding with your setup.
 
interesting note i slammed the store on their facebook page about this and now they just posted that they needed more information and will contact me in the morning
 
I would do the same if it's a new tank. Call the manufacturer and see if they will sort it out for you.
It's not a huge deal with what I see it's just the point of buying a new tank for the reason of wanting a spotless tank.

exactly i spent 600 plus dollars that day on items and have been a customer there for awhile. then they have a posting on their page where someone could not afford a tank and theirs broke and they went out of their way to get them a new tank and setup for free. but screw me
