Hello all. Just wondering what is your opinion(s) on these two if I mate them? Will there be more quality frys to keep then culling? Will it be worth breeding them? They are not together yet but maybe in the future. Thanks in advance.

Female: Gus red spot/Petsmart RT @ 5"

Possibly they have some nice colors and fins the only thing that has me wondering is exactly what quality you're looking for? Some people consider flower horns with huge heads high quality others find it in colors and fins or both. I say it's worth a shot you never know one of the babies could turn out to have a nice hump and colors. You'll never know until you try

This is what I want in the frys. If it's close to the picture I posted here I will be satisfied though I know it will never be close to it since it will be generations of line breeding to get to look like that. I like it to be proportional from the head, body, and fins. Hopefully Mr. LeeNguyen don't mind me borrowing one of his prized VIP king kamfa picture.

That male kamfa looks as if it can grow a bigger kok. just needs some more attention to it, which i mean by is grooming. so yea, i think they will produce high quality fries. and prbbly will leave big traits of kamfa in them. :D

U won't get that with that female. You can use a big worm pearl carpinti or a Silk fh instead

I'll take some fry when it happens both very good looking fish

I will keep that in mind for future breeding with the male. I just thought the pair has good qualities and will have some awesome looking frys if I try since I have them available.

Will it count if the female at the top already have texas genes in her or it has to be a true caprtinis? Picture below (left pic) is the mom that is half Texas/ flowerhorn along with the dad (right pic) that is a Gus red spot.
