Ok a little backstory 1st. 3 couple months ago I lost 1 of my 3 ropefish to lids that didn't fit well so I started to make some glass sliding lids but that took me several weeks and I got impatient and got another 1 well 2 days later it jumped and didn't make it. So I decided to wait till the lids were done till I got a 3rd one again. Within a couple days of finishing the lids I got a 3rd one again and after about a week I couldn't find him anywhere. I figured he was just hiding so didn't worry at 1st. By the 2nd weekly water change I was so worried I tore the tank apart looking for him to no avail. So I resigned myself that he was gone and I wasn't meant to have a 3rd ropefish. Now 2 months after his disappearance I'm walking by the tank and see this small ropefish and I am in shock. He is swimming around and looked like the day I got him, in other words small and skinny. My immediate thought was I don't know the last time he ate so I run to the fridge and get the tilapia and sneak back to the tank so I don't spook him and drop some in and he starts happily munching.
I have thought and thought the only place he could of hidden he wouldn't be able to easily get out of because 2-3 much larger fish are always stuck in the entrance so he wouldn't of been able to surface for air often enough without me seeing him so the only explanation is..............TIME TRAVEL!!!!!!!!!
