I think my fh has ich. Does it look like it? I did a 30% water change. Raised temp to 86 and added a few tablespoons of salt. Anything else I can do? Thank you

Keep temp at 88F and use aquarium salt 1 or 2 tablespoon per 5 gallons.
You would keep that condition for at least 2 weeks or up to 4 weeks even after you see the ich cleared after 72 hours and only use medicine at last resort because it will mess up your bio system.

How do I maintain the salt at that level? When do I add more?

Only add salt back in when you do the water change, add salt equal the amount of salt required for the water you took out. EX: if you took out 30G then only add salt needed for that new 30G water you add in you tank.

Thank you ! My tank is 55 gal so how much salt should I initially put in? I only put in about a tablespoon and a half because I was scared to add too much. Lol

its safe to put 1 tablespoon per each 5 gallons so you can use 11 tablespoon, or just follow the instruction on the box if you use API aquarium salt. I just buy non brand name salt from our asian store lol and I did use 2 tablespoons per 5 gallons.
*Remember to add more airstone for more water circulation with high temp water.

Okay thanks so much. I have Instant Ocean Sea Salt at home, is that okay to use. I used it when I added my tablespoon and a half, I thought it was all the same. Will he be okay? Or did I mess up bad by using that? I wont be able to make it to the store for about 12 hours. I hope he's okay until then.

DO NOT USE INSTANT SEA SALT.
It's salt to use for saltwater setup, it's contain more stuff that NOT meant for freshwater. The amount of instant sea salt you put in your water is too small to mess thing up but I would do some water change before adding the freshwater aquarium salt.
