My arowana just got injured (scale demage) while he was scared it's been more than 2hrs to this incident
I have added 2 capsule power of teramycin(250) into the water

about the incident-
(I had to take out the lid as I started to feel some burning smell from my lid seems like water has gone inside the lighting system of the lid i opened and took the lid outside
in this it got scared and started going here and there and it took few hits from the back end of lid )
going to get the lighting fixed within this week

i have pictures ready to post but as i m a new member i think rules don't allow me to share image url

what should i do next ?
how much time will it take to heal and for new scales to grow ?

No need any medicine to get it heal, just keep a good water quality and it will heal soon but will take few weeks or even months for the new scale to match the color of existing scale.

I agree with above! Your aro will heel fine just add some salt and keep water clean it'll grow back in a couple months. If you wanna speed up the heeling process bump up the temp to 85-87 degrees.

I agree with what has been said.. she will heal quickly and soon the scale will grow back

Dont add medicine to the tank especially antibiotics unless there is a serious problem as most antibiotics will kill the good bacteria in your filter so always check on that first!!
If really necessary some salt does the job safely

so what should i do now wc ? add salt ?

Dee eng well increasing temperature is not possible so what do u suggest ?

As long as its just lost scales, just do your normal water changes and it will sort itself out without adding anything
yes the injury doesn't to be too bad i'll do wc daily and add salt hope that would help
