120 gallon SA tank

I am thinking of getting a 4x2x2 aquarium and want to be a SA cichlid tank, I thought about having a group of geophagus, some altum angels, a group of tetras and some uarus. What do you think of the stocking?

The fish choices sound fine. I don't think you can fit in too many other fish after Uaru as they can get pretty beefy though.

If you want plants and tetras leave the uarus they get too big for a 120 anyways and will eat small fish aswell as plants I would suggest either doing altum angels with a tetra shoal and some chequerboard cichlids or equivalent that size, or the geophagus and big beefy tetras with a few catfish

What catfish would you suggest, I don't really like cory catfish or pictus

Hoplo's are very peaceful, interesting catfish.
A group of 6 would do well in your tank.
They are also easy to breed and have fascinating breeding behaviour.
They will also act as cleaner fish for your cichlids.

Hoplo's seem to be a good option, I have changed my mind on the tank and want it to be a semi aggrssive cichlid tank, I wanted to have fish like jack Dempsey's or Oscars, do you have any suggestions for Stocking and will hoplo's work with aggressive cichlids

I used to keep a group with my green terrors and they did very well together.
I think most cichlids will ignore them but you run more risk with central Americans than most south American cichlids.
If the cichlids don't see them as a threat(which they shouldn't outside breeding attempts) I think you will be fine with all but the most notoriously aggressive cichlids.

What size was your green terror tank

My gt tank was 7x2x2. I had 1 male and 5 female gt's.
I had a group of Brochis splendens, 6 Pimelodus blochii and the Hoplo's.
(see my thread titled Lots of pics past and present)
You could probably do a pair of gt's with the same catfish if you wanted.
