I am not just a fish guy, but I'm also a life long gearhead/car guy. Been that way since I was about 12 yrs old. I own a 69 GTO tube chassis car that will run mid 8's once finished. With that said, I dunno if there are other car guys here. But I will share some pics. I am lucky enough to live only 1 mile from the heart of the Woodward Dream Cruise. I have probably 500+ pics from the past week, but I can't upload&resize them all lol. So here are just a few for you other car guys to enjoy.

There's others on here. Love the Muscle cars. Had a 1971 Mach 1 Mustang for over 25 years. Had a few others over the years. Currently have a 2013 Ram hemi with 395 hp(which is better then no power at all).

I'll say it is Borg lol!
Nice shots Mr.C,thanks for posting.

Great shots!!! Also a gear head here, although I haven't worked on my projects in years. Been wanting to get my Vega running again.

Took a bit to dig out my Ext HD and load the pics but here's my goat. I bought this car about 15 yrs ago. It's a 69 Le Manns because I didn't want to butcher a real GTO like this lol. All that is left of the original car is the metal roof and rear quarters. The rest of the body is all custom made fiberglass, all tube chassis from Chris Alston Chassis works, DTS Dana 60 with 4:56 spool & 35 spline axles. 18.5 rear MT's, dual custom dual funny car cages, coil overs, A - arm front and disc all around. 540 Dart Merlin block with a Weiand 8-71 blower.

Truth be told though I have actually been seriously thinking of selling it this year. Don't get me wrong I still LOVE muscle cars and all. But when I bought this car with plans of going fast I was 30 yrs old. Now I'm gonna be 46 in a few months, and working my body into a jungle jim everytime I want to get in & out of the car doesn't appeal much to me. And honestly now at 46....doing 150-160mph in 1/4 mile....ehhhh, not sure I really want to do that anymore at this age. Plus over the past 15 yrs I have changed a lot. I'm a much simpiler man these days and don't care much for money and items anymore. Still undecided on selling it because I do love her (her name is Vanessea...yes, she has a name ;) ) But well see what happens. Anyway here's a few pics.

Nice!!! I have a feeling you're over it though. I completely understand. I have a v8 Vega that's been down almost as long. It blew up, life got busy, things change, next thing you know, 10-15 years go by. I wanted to build a fast drag radial car, when the first drag radial classes started. It didn't take long for the class to get too fast for me to even want to try. More years go by, trends change. Now, you don't see pro street types, with nice paint, you see lots of flying rat rods, on small tires! My friend I grew up racing with, recently returned to street car racing after years out. He races NMCA, and likes it. But now they're doing a lot of 1/8 mile racing, which doesn't appeal to me much.
