Can't advise but I put in a parrot with my flowerhorn last night and now the parrot laid eggs... hoping for the best

Put a 8 inch ceramic dish in for the eggs. Lower flow rate , and bare bottom.

The eggs could have been infertile from either the blood parent or the flowerhorn hard to tell

As you See, there is only a small corner filter.. the tank has a divider but the canister intake is on the other end of the tank

Likely I will leave them with the parents if it is really fertile

Your set up looks good lol I was referring to the original post for tcav88. Best of luck with the eggs!!!

Lol im not in a hurry if it happens it happens. My dad is dealing with this problem now. He has a batch of 74 cichlids that he doesn't want to part with....

i also have bay cichlids fry.. lol.. growing out my 4th batch.... gave the 3rd batch away...

latest batch, the 5th, i saw while WC last sat... left it there....

but due to my heavily comm cichlid tank.... most times i can only save between 5-20 fries per batch
