There's been a lot of movement in corporate America regarding inclusion and diversity. I have often wondered when Asians were no longer considered minorities and are now considered priveliged. Asians are never brought up in the categories. Interesting.

Asians face the same issues as any other "minority group" but somewhere along the way someone thought, " nah, they good now".

Maybe. This has crossed my mind too. As it specifically relates to hi-tech I have some theories for why this is. A hiring quota is met. For the rest of world issues not as straight forward.

it's simple . asians don't embrace the "victim mentality ". typically Asian that are in a bad place in life work there ass off to get ahead. just look at the huge Chinese population that were " indentured servants" aka slaves labor, that built the railway system across our nation. where are their relatives now? working hard to build a great life... I don't see any Asians rioting for an obamaphone ebt section 8 or free abortions. Asians seems to be the only "minorities" not burning and looting.

Yes, although this applies to other groups as well, I can attest to this from my personal experience. Work your arse off and suck it up and be thankful for what you got.

I'm not suggesting Asians should "play victim" in any way. Just an observation of how the media and society chooses to adress. In this case not.
