Just posting because I was looking for these guys for quite a while and they were hard to find, without a minimum order amount. Jaws7777 tried to send me some of his growouts and the post office essentially killed them. :(

Now they show up in my LFS. LOL

They're tank raised, .75 inches. So for those of you looking, go get 'em!

I have heard many cichlids are like that in Chicago. Most of us are not so lucky.
Wet spot is a good vendor btw, I have ordered from them before and was not disappointed.

Mine got along with my poly's quite nicely ;-) Might not be the same for LJ's though :-(

I don't have a tank for them now or I'd get some. I think once they're grown (which takes forever) they'd be ok with LJ polys...

Wish these were easy to find here! Why won't Chicago sell them to the rest of the US? Stop hoarding the Hets! ;)

Yeah that was my only concern was the potential size difference. I think attitude wise they'd get on fine with one another. I would love it if you got into your new house, got a nice big tank with LJ's and Hets from the wet spot. Everything would come full circle in a way.

I think you'll be happy w/ The Wet Spot. I would certainly order from them again.

Oh I live in Portland, they are my LFS!

They're even shipping some of my fish to some non-local members for me which is super awesome. I can't say enough good things about them.

Even better. I've been wanting to buy a group of thorichthys aureus gold from them, but don't have the space now.
