How many blocks do I need for the 29 gallon and what size board piece? Can I do 4 blocks 2 on each side and a board on top. I'll cover it with some red or blue fabric.I'd go the cinder block route personally. Just stack them how high you want and lay a wood board across. You can make shelves by placeing boards between the blocks.
I am going to do a cinder block standyou should probably support all 4 corners. i foresee a terrible tipping incident with that setup
Hello; No.Is this safe to use as a stand for my 29 gallon aquarium?

Hello; Better plan.I am going to do a cinder block stand
Hello, how are you?Hello; No.

Hello; In my opinion that table will be much too unstable. At least you did ask first. Not long ago a photo was posted of a similar setup with a tank full of water.
Hello; Are you the same AquaAlex1993 who advertises a personal fish blog on this forum and has been keeping fish for years?
6 blocks and a piece of 3/4" ply cut to the bottom dimensions of the tank would be just fine. Most big box hardware stores will rip the piece you need from a fresh sheet. You could probably just get three pieces ripped from the same sheet of ply. Wahlah, two shelves bonus no added costHello, how are you?
Yes sir, that's me. Hopefully, I haven't given off a bad image or bad vibe, outside of the internet, I am a nice person and I try to be nice on here too. I love chatting about the things I love fish, cooking, baking, wwe, things like that.
I kind of thought the table wouldn't work, but figured it's worth a shot to see other people's opinion.
My home depot is having a small 15 percent off sale so the cinder blocks original price is 1.70 price is now 1.45. Not sure on the wood prices, and not sure what size I need.
Awesome. LOL... I had to write this down because I'm not into this kind of stuff, but should get more into it save a lot of money.6 blocks and a piece of 3/4" ply cut to the bottom dimensions of the tank would be just fine.
