When I was 7 years old my dad got my twin sister BETTA fish and we put the divider in but we never did water changes and we always fed them with those weekend feeders. Haha now 14 years later I am shaking my head at little me

About 9 years ago, my first tropical tank, bought gravel & decor etc, filled it with water & immediately went out to pick a fish & i happened to pick a blue tang...needless to say it was a disaster, i still hang my head in shame to this day, poor little guy :(
Hahaha oh my gosh

Well, my son put my pacu in his community tank, mind you he was 5 he asked if "pacfish" can come play with his fish. I gave him the go ahead ... While I was sleeping. The poor fish lasted only about an hour. the wife woke me up and told me what happened. I was baffled on how he put my 11 inch pacu in his 5g tank. He and i now laugh at the experience.
Did you ever find out how he got the fish in his tank?

I was very new to the hobby I had a 20 gal tank,i put in a 2" belly crawler pike and a 7" Oscar, come morning time the Pike was no where to be found.

5 gallon tank, no filter, piece of drift wood that took up 50% of the swimming space, 6 white clouds and 2 common goldfish. Somehow, the goldies survived (though stunted) and got upgraded to a "big tank" (15 gallons lol). Had them for 6 years.

For me it was probably back about 25 yrs ago when I first got into cichlids. My GF & I bought a 29g tank and put a 8" butterkoferi, a 5" Jack Dempsy, and can't remember the other fish but we put a couple other ones in as well. Looking back on that is just crazy, we had zero idea what we were doing back then.

I have so many questions...

I got a 3 inch common pleco in a 5 gallon with no filter or heater. Also fed it 1 1/2 cm algae tablets every day. In 3 days I had to make a grave. Will never forget when the petco guy said it would live about 2 months like that and then get a 10 gallon :D:D:D.
