IMO, USDA is a prime example of bureaucratic insanity. Here is what they require for your filter dirt to be organic. (you seem to fit through a small loophole)
USDA said:
Overall, if you make a product and want to claim that it or its ingredients are organic, your final product probably needs to be certified. If you are not certified, you must not make any organic claim on the principal display panel or use the USDA organic seal anywhere on the package*. You may only, on the information panel, identify the certified organic ingredients as organic and the percentage of organic ingredients.

*Some operations are exempt from certification, including organic farmers who sell $5,000 or less.

In other words, Who really cares about the USDA? I think the whole thing is BS, start to finish.

20171007_201627.jpgBlue fin fire fish males (Dragons blood line) with a female 50/50 Acie x dragons blood regular.
He is a year old, and I have one offspring from him, with a strawberry firefish.
Hoping these two spawn

Doesn't look like an apple snail or a mystery snail to me.

20171010_185621.jpgFound another dragons blood fry, it is in the algea scrubber. Interesting in that the light is on 24x7. I would have thought that would have messed with a gets metabolism in a bad way.
He's is almost as big as the one I rescued, a month ago from the same place
20171010_185644.jpg This guy is a 50/50 acei, he has been in the scrubber for long time. Self surviving on algea, and copods.

No food for 3 day weekend, the white plastic is starting to show. Think I have about 40 2.5" + fish in this 75 gallon. " 150 gallon system"
Might have to turn the led back up. The more time they spend grazing, the less they seam to fight.
