The “blue mojarra” Herichthys sp. "Pantepec"

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I had a 9” fish survive 3 days from Florida. Same time of the year too. Depends on packaging and a few other factors

I've had a similar situation happen before, but the weather is what's making me the most nervous. I know there's a "lot" of factors in play here, but this cold fronts make me nervous.

fish arrived today, floating on her side gasping for air.. We'll see if she pulls through. On a positive note, it was 100% error on ups's side. was reimbursed 25$ for shipping.

Edit: Also am receiving free shipping on next order.

ammonia burn on the fins, but other than that she seems to be doing well. She's staying hidden, in a clay pot, has herself tucked away in there. Hope she heals up and becomes active soon, she hasn't left the pot, so obviously she won't eat.

So.. I've been working 14 hour shifts, for the past 5 days. This morning I turned on the lights and fed the fish, came home from work 14 hours later and the female mammon has laid about 300+ eggs. I'll post a video and update a new thread.

That is a Beautiful Cichlid, is this the same Cichlid as the Escondido?
