As the the title says, Where should I look online for good quality Kelbri from?

I am going to grow a few out in a 75 and my 6*4 or 7*3 (havent decided yet) should be built within the next few months.

also how do you think the kelbri would do in a tank of those dimensions? would it be too small for more than one. I will also have a few larger fish in there.
I havent decided 100% but there will more than likely be a polypterus Congicus, a Pterodoras granulosus (granulos catfish), and possibly some larger dithers like silver dollar or something

Monster Aquarium in NY or NJ.

Check with the vendors that are on the site.

Don’t they mostly sell large or adult fish?

Yeah I have. The only problem with that is I don’t know which ones have the higher quality kels? As these would be the “centerpiece” of the tank and I want them to have decent genetics. Possibly an F1 batch. Though I’m sure that’s not easy to find at all.

Well, I have bought kels from most of the vendors here and while I am not sure about their genetics and all, they have grown up to be some pretty impressive looking fish. You probably can't go wrong with whomever you choose.Good luck with your search.

Monster gets smaller kels for cheap, about $60 and up. Also discus origin has some nice tocantins. I believe they are $50 each and are less common than the bahias that are around. Rapps also has some tiny f1 Rio doce kels for $50 bucks. If you looking for a wild caught batch, you'll have to wait it out until they come back around. Prices are usually high and cost about 225-350 each. You can get them a bit cheaper if you find a hobbiest trying to sell theirs.

Awesome I just checked those out. That’ll probably be what I go with when I’m ready. ( still a few months out)

Any thoughts on the size of the tank and what would work best in the long run 7*3 or 6*4?

And do you think more than one would work or would that be pushing it?
I’ve never owned a peacock and not sure what to expect with activity.

-7x3 or 8x3 is perfect.
-two will fight a lot. Keep 5 to divert the aggressions.
-they are shy at first but active and behave like cichlids once older.

Either tank would work. I personally like 7x3' better but it's all preference.

I wouldn't buy one bass. I'd purchase about 5-7 bass. They do best in groups.
