Not even the poly’s ganoid scales can protect it from a size discrepancy that huge I think. I would keep the poly away from that flower horn.

Uggg really! No they are external gills they will be absorbed back into the body as your poly ages and grows lungs. Smack that jerk right in the pie hole! Dragon horns.......I hate people sometimes.

They’re called external gills.
They’ll go away as the fish ages.
