They get the labeling wrong often because they often label very small serras which are impossible to label until they get bigger. Probably guess based on supplier and collection point.
 
Really sorry for the hoopla on the FB Nick. As per identifying Piranha I try to do all the research I can and learn as much as I can from the experts when possible. and yes it is obviously harder to identify some piranha at smaller sizes. But before I sent anything out I always double check with the owner on what is what if he hasn't told me previously. But since I started here I have been trying my best to work out old bad dealings that have been had with the company, get back to everyone, and make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. As per the Altuvei/ Compressus feud, ive done my research on what the differences are, spotting, head and jaw structure, back structure, where they are supposed to be located, what rivers they were found in, where those rivers lead and connect to. The species are described as having different body structures and slightly different spotting with some variation. if it is said that they always have a different body structure and a variant in spotting I would go with the body structure as I did. and my boss did back me up on this. but people are people, no matter what to some people i'll always be wrong and new to this. Just doing the best I can with what I got. Again im sorry about the whole ordeal Nick. Piranha or not and or orders or not, I'm always free if you got any questions and or are looking for anything specific.

sorry things got blown out of proportion but it doesn't matter anymore the serra died and in a way it is better off because I got tired of arguing with all those guys on face book about that fish,but if you can get me a nice size Convict with a KoK id be very interested

I'm sorry to hear that.. and you don't have a reason to apologize Nick so no worries. Youre a good customer. And ill look into those convicts with the KoK and get back to you as soon as I find some

Maybe you were too busy arguing that you didn't take complete care of the serra.. I just suggest you dont get any more serras in the future.

you idiots were on me the minute I posted pics of the fish telling me it wasn't an altuvie its funny how you guys all seem to forget that you where the ones who started all of this and I was a fool to question Pedro because you guys are a bunch self proclaimed experts oh and by the way have another drink
