When will teugelsi be back in season?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of it. Like I said once all this holiday extra work is over. I’ll have a lot more free time. Is this your go to place or are there any other fish shops in your area?

Yeah it wasn’t bad at all. Everyone got along alright. And it was an extremely fun tank the only reason I really got out of the hobby was my CB PBB jumped out and it was heartbreaking for me and I lost interest. I even bought a new one to replace him ($150) and it didn’t make it better. So I ended up selling the whole set up to my LFS for $100

It’s my go to place. Their prices are a bit high, sometimes a bit outrageous, but if you buy from them you don’t have to pay for shipping, so...

There is another place in Cinci that has a pretty good selection, but not quite as good. However, the place in Cinci has a 17,000 gallon aquarium with three black tip reef sharks that are ~4ft long and a giant grouper that is 3-4ft long. This place is about 45 minutes from me though, and is in the opposite direction of you, so probably almost three hours from you. They do have a lot of good used equipment at pretty good prices. They also have better prices on their fish.

Yeah I’ll have to plan a trip I still want to take my wife to aquarium adventures as well

It’s in Dublin/Hilliard area it’s huge almost like the Walmart of fish stores they have a freshwater stingray tank and you can pet the rays it’s pretty cool. And they have a huge tank with “tank busters” Or big fish that they sell for $15 dollars for anything in the tank usually oscars or plecos that’s where I got my 12” Oscar that I had years ago

Sorry to hear about how that went. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to give you a hand in getting back into the hobby.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it. I’m hoping to pick up a tank within the next few weeks there’s a 125 that’s been sitting on Craigslist for a while that hasn’t moved and I know it still available because the guy re-posts it like every couple of day. If I come up with some extra cash I may just jump on it the only problem is it doesn’t come with anything except for the stand but if i can get it for the right price I may just grab it

But I’m trying to find the best deal possible because the less money I spend on the tank the more I will have to spend on fish lol

It's good to get a grow out but don't loose site of the main goal. Teugs will be back in time, your home built monster tank could be ready by then! I'd say it sucks that you got out in the first place but use this as your chance to come back in style! Don't rush it, get it done and done exactly how you want it. I had time on my upgrade I could have done larger waterchanges more frequently on my 75. I could have finished researching plywood tanks, where to get the glass, and bracing the floor. This 180 came up and I jumped on it (the pull is to powerful). Don't get me wrong it's a nice tank and stand combo and I got it at a nice price, the stand and canopy new were $2000. I paid half that for all of it, but probably could have built a plywood tank double the size for a couple hundred more. There is no way the wife will let me upgrade anytime soon either. I used up all my get out of jail free cards just getting this approved.
Just saying don't "paint" yourself into a corner! Lol
