Hello! Long story short, store was out of red worms/Canadian Nightcrawlers so i opted to feed my tank these guys (Green Worms):

Unfortunately it did this to my aquarium:

Before:

After:

I've done about 3 30% water changes this week (220 Gallon) but the green tint remains. I have two questions:

1.) Could this potentially harm any of my fish?
2.) Any suggestions on getting rid of the color? I'm 100% positive that the cause of this was the addition of green worms.

Thank you very much!

First of all what on earth is that jardini eating,a cockroach?
Looks like you might have to do a complete drain off of the tank and wipe and rinse the inner glass....that is what I would do.That stuff might get absorbed into the silicone the way that some medications do.

Never mind what the jardini's been eating, what the hell have them worms been eating to do that to the water, haha.

Yeah hopefully it's just food coloring and nothing that will negatively affect the fish.I wasn't aware that they were doing that to live bait.

Don't worry, it's harmless. Those green worms are just supplemented with green food coloring and spirulina. (I'm 90% sure)
Either way they aren't different in any other way, they are just fed a different food to make them more visible.

How many worms did you drop in there to get that much tint?

It wouldn't take much malachite green to do the same
