About 2/3 of his time is spent swimming around, the other 1/3 watching YouTube aquarium related videos -- and it's getting worse... Should I be concerned?

That’s too funny. As long as he isn’t trying to get out of his tank and into the laptop I think you’re fine.
You think that's bad, you should see the spawning videos he watches when you're not home. 
Like many Flowerhorn my Kamfa is hyper-territorial -- he'd kill almost anything in the tank that wasn't twice his size...can't even keep a pleco with him.
I think he / she needs a mate
Well I kinda doubt he'd want her around everyday, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind some short-time yeah
...thing is most Kamfa Flowerhorn are infertile, so he'd likely be shooting blanks
