Arowana Tank Setup Ideas

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
A jardini should ideally have a 6' x 30" by 24" tank, they get to be two feet and are not that flexible so need space to turn. Silvers and jardinis are very different

yeah i have plans to upgrade to a 4 ft tank. in a few months. BTW i don't think a 3ft tank will be small for a 3 inch arowana.

No, not a 4ft tank a 6ft tank at the absolute minimum.

A 3 inch Arowana is fine in a 3ft tank. But what most people fail to realize with this whole grow out tank idea is that the fish has to be moved to the CORRECT sized tank as it grows. Failing to move the fish at the right time can result in permanent stunting.

Also keep in mind that a 3" Arow will grow quick probably not more than 6 months to out grow the 4ft tank. So make serious upgrade plans!

Or, upgrade before you get the fish. Life usually interferes somehow, and the upgrade may not happen.

Its been a while since the last "arowana in a tiny tank" thread... :D

Lol all the tiny "monster fish" tank guys seem to hang out at youtube these days :)
