Listen I do not want to derail this thred by respect to the OP so this is my last time in here, I already said what I had to to the OP, his money, his time, his fish so I already tried to help him.
* Seing your discus now I understand your reasoning, they are all below average at best. Some of them are skinny and stunted.
* I have bred and rised more discus in my own tanks that you will ever own (actually I have culled more discus fish than you will ever own).
* Optimal breeding temperature is 82, anything above that will actually work against breeding.
* Yes I know where they are found in the wild, but with all due respect the fish in your tank and the fish out in the wild are so many generations apart that they have few in common.
* 82 F is what I keep my discus all year round, no need for more.
As I say before to the OP they are your fish and you do with them whatever you think is right. I am not here to educate you or anyone. It was never my intention. All I wanted was to share information.
