Welcome aboard

The 55 will be over stocked and too small for 4 Green Severums.

Great gift and opportunity for your friend to upgrade the 55 ! I dont know how big the sevs are ..? mine are 4-5" and dont bother my congo's or Colombian tetras or cories or Bolivian rams

They are only about 1.5"-2" as of right now

Ok thats what i thought i was also thinking wouldnt they pick a fight with the keyhole cichlid and the apistos
Nah, they probably won't. They're pretty placid...Though, as I say that I'm watching two of mine chase a syno, a couple plecs and a polypterus. But that's because they're being being pricks.

Most severums are fairly easy going, but they definitely have the capacity to kill. Mine have killed a rainbow fish, a geo balzani, and something else I cant remember. I would not trust them with smaller fish at all.

Also that tank would be way over stocked.

severums are usually great in the community but can be temperamental, especially when breeding which they will do readily.

55 gallon gonna be really crowded with that stock. youre gonna want a 75 probably bigger eventually if you wanna keep all of em.
