Shannara Chronicles was canceled. I watched season 2 on Spike. It was ok.

Black Lightning was good as far as the character and plot but they have to work on villains. Street thugs are not going to carry the show.

That appears to be the issue with Black Panther - no Super Villain.
 
I didn't even know Shannara Chronicles season 2 had dropped. Season 1 was such a huge departure from the book though. I read an interview with Terry Brooks and he described why, but still. It was rough to watch being a huge fan of his books.

I only saw 2 episodes of season 1 but all of 2. Others say 2 was better.
 
Just got home from seeing The Last Jedi. Ya know I'm not gonna say I hated it, but let's just say I totally get why some people here said it sucked. Maybe part of it is the fact that me being 46 yrs old I grew up with the real Star Wars movies being a huge part of my childhood so anything they make in the Star Wars franchise now just fails by comparison. Or it could just be that it did kind'a suck lol

I won't go into detail in case someone has not seen it I don't want to spoil anything. I'll just say that the added "comedy" they tried to put through the movie is so unnatural and forced that it is seems VERY out of place. The only one that could add comedy one liners to Star Wars was Harrison Ford as Han, it came so natural to him. It doesn't work for the ones in this film. And WTF was that with Leia in space???? That was just flat out stupid (those that saw the movie know what I'm talking about).

Another thing I could not help but notice because they just push it so much in your face...I'm not sexist nor racist but I will say this. If I was alive in the future I'd for sure be on the side of the Empire, because in Disney's version of the rebellion, if you're a white dude you obviously climb no higher than Captain in the ranks o_O

LOL!....even shrimp people reach the level of admiral!
Agreed on the comedy attempts in the beginning.I guess that is Disney keeping the kids in mind.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter just to see how Darth Wannabe turns out as the Supreme Leader.

I think Kylo Ren is the only real "plus" I got out of this one. Because I really didn't care for him in the previous movie. They unmasked him way too early, then seeing he was a bratty young kid rather than some real evil looking guy was a let down. In this one though I think he was a little bit better and I can at least see him as the evil leader maybe just a tad more than I did before.

I thought that they unmasked him too soon also but I like his look....with the Gene Simmons big hair lol.

Oh man yes yes and yes.

They could have done soo much better with what they had to work with. I loved force awakens it had the original star wars feel to it. This piece of junk the last jedi felt like those corny phantom menace movies. I still cant figure out the leia thing...it had absolutely no point and made no sense. The casino planet scenes were as corny as the gungans (spelling).

For me the worst was Luke....i mean cmooooooooon. Really cant say much or it will ruin it for others but seriously......all these yrs we wait to see Luke back and thats what we get
 
There is this whole push to equel the playing ground when it comes to male and females. Damn near every "good guy" authority figure was a female while the bas guys were mostly men.

Even in comics thor, and a bunch of other classic heros are now females. I think a bunch of them Lgbt too. Like why is that even in a comic book smh
 
Wait....The Mighty Thor is now a woman?
