Two nile perch from Exotic Fish Shop

Got them at 3" and pretty thin. They were fed only live by the vendor. Transferred to cut fish easy. In 2 months reached about 6"-7".

Hey Chubs, yes, around. They have gone into 4500 gal at about 1' some months ago. I was very nervous and still not quite easy about them in there but they have been alright so far. Perhaps about 16" right now.

I call my fish house a pavilion - a greenhouse-type structure covered with shade cloth and tarp on the top.

The perches started growing at different rates after about 12"-18". One of them much faster than the other. The bigger one was then transferred into the other 4500 gal with the RTC, jau, pacu, and Co.

The smaller one stayed behind in the same 4500 gal but out of the blue died for no good reason. Has been feeding and behaving well except the last few weeks, gradually worsening. Final measure 22" at roughly 2.5 years of age.
