I have recently acquired a 20 Long and a "22 long", its the same dimensions as a 20 long but 3" taller making it 15" tall.

My question is, what would you put in them, personally i like Lake Tangyikan fish so thats what im leaning towards but i am not sure as to what species to keep.

FYI i also have a 120 that is a all peacock tank and a custom made 18 gallon that has Neolamprologus Similis in it.

Julies or calvus in the long, and brichardi complex in the tall. If you can get altolamprologus Compressiceps sp. Sumbu shell, it'd be incredible.

I was looking at getting Julies of some sort, they look to be very interesting fish, and very colourfull for a Tangyikan fish. How many would you say i could keep in it?

Im not sure on the Compressicepts though, I belive that i have seen them around but at $40-$70 a piece. They arent cheep here in Australia.

I really don't know. When I stocked my 55, I didn't want them, now I regret it, because I want julies bad, and don't think they'll fit in a 10 :(

I second the Sumbu shell.

I have Neolamprologus caudopunctatus in a 20 long, I was hoping for a pair, but all 6 have lived together peacefully so far.

They are also a very interseting fish that would be good to keep. Thats if i can get my hands on some of them.

Those are also a very interesting fish that i could keep, if i could get my hands on some.
