More plants
Ordered some Bucephaladra Theia Blue and Green Wavy, the seller threw in some Microsword and Ranunculus too

more Buce to the Buce hedge/wall

the tall ones

and yes i planted the new batch of buce like stem plants like the seller did. The part of rhizome under the substrate will rot but roots will still grow and take its place.

A lot of people here plant their buce just on top of the substrate where it can root as well. That's an interesting method and definitely a wonderful addition :)

Really nice tank definitely a work of art with all that buce... makes me jealous... especially since a lot of my buce is newly planted :p

yeah i thought it was interesting too when i first read what he did. saves a lot of floor space imo. i got sick of the lava rock method lol.

dude you sshould check out dennis wong's/Xiaozhuang's tanks. his buces have some crazy colors. he has 200 PAR at substrate level, clay -> dirt -> aquasoil cap. think his tank was under 3 kH, he didn't list the other parameters.

^ do you have a link to his work? Would love to see more... Btw, are you Chinese by any chance???
