a S. Petricola, S. Polli, S. Multipunctatus, S. Lucipinnis,...now maybe another type of Synos that I haven't kept like the previous 4...would be nice. I am even open to Botas or other Catfish...to Pleco or not to Pleco...that is the question. I often find that Plecos grow more algae from nutrients than they consume lol...

Njassae seems kewl is it like a territorial single fish or a schooling fish like the ones I listed above...the real question is are there any...ever...available. I have seen ocellifur, angelicus, euruptus, and decorus...but never have seen Njassae available....who has them.

I have both occellifer and angelicus in my tank, which at one point was leaning more towards predatory. I've seen moved back to smaller haps and peacocks with a few predators.

It will be dominant with larger Haps with 3 Aulonocara. I have a Baenschi, Lwanda, Eureda Jake, and the rest will be Haps in the 9-13 inch range eventually. Are occellifer and angelicus both solitary and not a schooling fish like the smaller Tang synos? Do you think they would work in my 6 footer? How about a Decorus? Could I mix multi synos or would there be definite warfare? I have seen the the smaller 6 inch synos scrap before...they really go at it...i had to remove the non-dominant male because he was getting abused.

How about Plecos do keep them in your malawi DT? My only problem is their waste output vastly outweighs the benefit for me...although BN's do a decent job my arm does better...but some of the fancier varieties are really gorgeous. I don't know if I want to subject them to hard water and no wood though.

I have 2 occellifers that squabble sometimes, the angelicus and occellifers ignore each other. I've only ever tried bristlenoses, mine has be there for around 3 years.

Well i came across a fat 7"ish Ocellifer and I have around a 3-4inch S. notatus. Now, I would love a large Amgelicus...I find them the most attractive.
