They look to have settled in now and seem to enjoy the plant cover a lot:)
They certainly do. The zebrina his for two days before finally coming out. They key is figuring out how I’m going to get the other tank set up before these guys outgrow this tank.

Quick post showing how to use small branches of wood to anchor plant roots when you have bottom feeders.

Get small pieces of wood of various lengths and wedge them over the roots into the sand. This keeps the bottom feeders from exposing them as they feed. If you have large botttom feeders, use larger and heavier pieces of wood. Don’t go too branchy with the pieces. Instead use simple straight pieces. The flatter the better. Push them down over the roots and have them appear to be extensions of your main hard scape.

Oh good idea with the branches too. I will have to see if something like that will work to keep my polys from uprooting stuff.
Thank you. I had to wedge a lot of wood sticks in place due to my bottom feeders. Pick up the scrap pieces at the lfs, they work great.

Thank you sir. Ill do a better post on the 535. I’m going to break down my aquascape with photos since a lot of folks have been asking how I build up the structures in the back.
