Thank you sir!You sound like me I like to try and not starve the fish to much but if you stop feeding it live it should come along in a few days. One thing i learned helped was feeding in the smae spot and drop it a little at a time. This will have the bigger ones splashing and bringing attention to the area eventually the runt will jsut get caught up in the frenzy and grab something you are feeding. This worked for me gettiung them onto pellets because then I would drop 1 or 2 smelt or tilapia they would eat it expecting me to drop in another piece of tilapia or smelt i would drop in massivore them expecting it to be cut fish they would jump and eat it before they realized it was a pellet. After this a few times all were pellet trained and accepted anything i fed. Some still preffered cut fish to pellet and vice versa but all would eat every feeding just one day some would gorge pellets others eat a few the next day vice versa with cut fish.
I’m doing just that at the moment. I have a feeding hole I drop the krill and frozen fish into.
Yesterday I only added floating carnivore sticks and they gulped them up and spit them out. I didn’t add anything else
I’ll do the same today. If they don’t swallow, I’ll throw in some more krill since I hate starving them. Then I’ll repeat and go longer next time around. The intermedia will eat them now. The orinos won’t. And the runt, well he only eats live. That’s going to cost him his life when his peers grow large enough to swalllw him. Wish he just “got it”.
