Need help with cherry red shrimp

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Sorry to ask to much question but can having to much mineral like having calcium rock and feeding food with calcium can cause a problem?

If he just introduce the new food, how long does the shrimp accepts it as food?

The shrimp should eat it as soon as it’s hungry, you may not see it eating it though. I’ve been breeding my shrimp for about two years and only saw a shrimp taking a pellet yesterday. It swam holding the pellet in its front legs and hid as it ate.

Not to worry, I’m happy to help and ask as much as you want. No, it won’t be a problem. My shrimp food has calcium too. The calcium in the water helps make the water softer and helps the ph so it also has different benefits than the food, while they do share some of the same benefits it won’t harm the shrimp or fry.

Ok thank you for the help, ill update you on how the tanks doing:)
That would be great. I’ll show you my tank even though it’s cloudy. Oh, if your friend adds a different color shrimp shush as deep blue, they will cross breed and you’ll have different colored fry. It’s how I got mud colored shrimp.
