Need Help With Fish Tank smelling

my fish tank smells really bad I think its the talapia I fed my fish whats the best way to get rid of the smell I was gonna do a water change wen I get a chance

I'd say a water change is a solid start. Gravel vacuum, clean filters with tank water, make sure any uneaten food is removed as soon as possible. It never hurts to test your water either

all food is eaten I put and air freshener thing it got rid of the smell unless u smell the actual tank im gonna do a water change and c if tht helps how much do u think i should take out like 20%

When's the last time you did a water change? I always do at least 50%

i did a 30-40% 2 days ago so its recent but tried feeding oscars new food yesterday they ate it all but some of it sat in the water for a few minutes making the tank smell
