Would a floating part in a tank be ok?

i have a 10 gallon tank with 3 dwarf puffers and 3 golden wonder killifish. If I make a little floating land-like platform with some bugs and stuff on it? Would this be ok? I was also thinking add in a banana plant for something too for a bit more decoration

Get a bigger tank first but yes you could, put some airplants on it

I meant you don't have room for a floating island in that tank.

As long it's aquarium safe I don't see why not. Tbh don't know anything about Banana Plants.

I just did it and it is doing fine, it’s a small fake rock I had, maybe 3 inches by 3inchs and I just used wire that I attached to the rock and to suction cups and I floated the fake rock, it works great and I added in more fake floating plants

Most of my tanks used floating logs, with plants rooted in them.

great places that fish would naturally hide under, and feel secure, but also still be visible from the front panel

yeah ive got some driftwood that refuses to sink. ive gotten used to it floating on the top though. fish seem to like it there.
