the nitrat isnt from 1 day beacause i took the water from the eploded tank. im doing 50% every 3 days. beacause im checking the water regualy i think this is ok. i use Prime, thers no substarte and i feed twice a day in an amount theyr finishing in 15 seconds
Oki doki. Sorry, its almost 3am here and I'm tired, your original posts made it sound like they'd produced 10ppm nitrates in a day.. My bad.. :)

I assume you vacuum the poop up off the bottom when you do you water changes?

Best suggestion I've got is to keep the water clean and keep trying for better pics/vids until you can get them a bigger home..

Good luck! I have a soft spot for goldies so I wish you the best of luck with them.

Post Script: goldfish like to dig around and look for food in the substrate, maybe throw a small handful of smooth pebbles in for them to dig in. It doesn't have to be enough to cover the entire bottom, just enough so they can pick them up and spit them out. It will help make them feel more at home. :)

Those fish are ones that ive found in a tank that was in the street with black water. I have the big 400 liter tank with another 19 golfish that ive rescued and right now im working on a pool that shoud be ready in the next week, when it will be ready ill transfer all the big ones to the pool and then all of those to the 400 liter tank. the goal in the end is that all of them will go to the pool

but of course that first i want to make sure everybody is healthy
Just focus on getting good pics/vids then. Even if it takes a day or two, keep trying.

Once you have those, some more knowledgeable people can help you with whether or not its a disease or just colour change.

Good luck. :)

That is a lot of goldfish! A 400L is a 100g tank; fully grown you can keep maybe max 10 in there, and it would be very tight, but for now you should be fine. Small goldfish change color all the time, I wouldn't be worried, but there could be something else, who knows?

out of the 19 only 5 are 20+cm all the others are small
Yeah, you have a year or maybe two until you'll need to worry. But when you get there, the goldfish will get 5" - 1', depending on a lot of things. 10 in a 100g is quite tight, most people would do 3.
