Just sneak stuff in, one study found that ounce for ounce, movie popcorn is (I think), 3 to 8 times more expensive than buying a steak at a restaraunt.

Oh yeah,I bring my own goodies now.The last straw was when I ordered the pretzel nuggets and the guy informed me that they were out of the cheese that is supposed to come with them.

The theater i go to has "X-Plus" Seating. huge leather reclining chairs that are reserved. i could literally walk in the minute the show starts and sit right down. Its the only way i will see a movie in the theater. If its not shown in X-Plus i will wait for it to be on demand.

Ya I feel ripped off if I dont do this, movie and large popcorn is 25$ or so, I bring my own water and then go to two movies.
