I have a pair of beautiful albino red oscars and they were the first fish in my tank along with a bristlenose and rubber lip pleco they ignore.

Just recently got a fire eel (they bit it once and ignore it now)

A brown hoplo catfish half an inch smaller than they are and they dont like the catfish but they tolerate it

A school of 5 bala sharks also slightly smaller than they are and ive only had them for a day but the oscars really dont like them and keep on attacking them, luckily they're quick.

But today im getting in a
3-4 in arowana
3-4 in ornate bichir
5 in lowei bichir
3 in black ghost knife.

My tank doesnt really have alot of hiding places its mainly open. Im getting some spider wood this weekend but in the meanttime i put some plastic plants in their to entertain the fish.

Will my oscars potentially eat my arowana and friends? They are about 6 inches and i dont want them to slurp up my ornate or arowana

Anything that can fit in their mouth is fair game. 3" arowana and 3" bichir sound like they might be bite-sized worms to me. If you think they could possibly fit in their mouth, I wouldn't risk it. Hiding spots will help a bit. What size tank are we talkin?

220 gallon tank.

How do the growth rates fair on my other animals cause i heard the balas and bichirs and pretty slow

Compared to an Oscar very slow. The only way to know is to try BUT that could also lead to less than pleasant outcomes. I'd probably go the cautious route and separate them.

Bichirs grow very slow, Oscar fast, arowana very fast. The 220 will last a good while, but eventually will need an upgrade for silver aro. The Oscar and arowana both could probably outgrow the bichir fast enough to eat it in a few months.

Well if you were in Washington State, I probably could trade you my RT and GT for the O's. Both wild caught, both have a lot smaller mouths than the O's.

Small aro and oscars not a good mix I had similar problem had to separate them lucky I have two big tanks! Even if the aro or bichir can't fit in theirs mouths they will bully to death don't risk it!
