Any Bonsai tree Keepers?

Took a break from rod order work and did some work on one of my ficus bonsai trees today. Have been working on this one for about 4-5 years now. Been gradually root pruning it yearly to get it down into a shallow bonsai pot and finally was able to get it in today. Also did some rewiring of all the branches as well. I'm really happy with the direction this one is going, especially considering I had chopped it down to nothing but a 4" stump 5 years ago and started from scratch.
Nice work Mr.C.

Love the ficus, Steve. Well done sir

This is a ficus forest planting that I have been working on for a few years now. A friends Dad gave it to me a few years ago when he moved. First year or two I started pruning the height down and then let it grow out with a bunch of new growth. Now today I managed to get the height pruned down to where I had wanted it to be as well as wired the branches to start directing it into more of a arched dome shape canopy that I want for it. Now to let it fill in with more growth over this summer.

This is a juniper I planted in the ground 5 years ago so it would ground grow and thicken the trunk up some. Put some bricks under it when I planted it 5 years ago so the roots would be shallow so I was able to put it directly into a bonsai pot today.

Now the hardest part....trying to decide exactly what style and pruning to do. I'm been looking at this thing for 2 hours now trying to decide what direction to go with it lol

Perhaps tree of life style?

What has been giving me problems i that left lowest branch. It grows weird and comes from the rear of the tree and goes forward which is against bonsai "rules". I keep going back & forth on if I should cut it or not. I finally just did lol. Now I'm gonna wires down some of the upper branches into the area that left branch was. Starting to take shape now I think finally.

Rebel against the tyrannical laws of bonsai lol.
