Tomorrow I'll buy about 40 pounds of white sand to mix with the 60 pounds of black sand I already have inside my 75G. I also want to pick up some good food for him, any recommendations?
I’ve only had him for less than two weeks, do you think that it can be stress? He eats very well too and sometimes attempts to overeat as well, though he just ends up spitting it out. How much time should I give him to settle in?
Mine took about a month to settle in and made him feed pellets. Feeding him more food at a time is okay but not too much food multiple times a day. 2times a day is enough. Play with him more often so that he will fully trust you. Feeding them less but enough will make them always active. Feed them more they will become less active and would probably have digestive problems in the long run.

I use hikari biogold+, hikari sticks and hai feng pellets. Giving bloodworms or market shrimp few times in a week. Cz products are very good also for grooming.
Hey guys. Little update - I moved him into a temporary empty 10 gallon aquarium all by himself and there was a huge improvement in coloration and temperament within the first hour of adding him in! Here are some pics. He’s still not at his full color IMO and he is also still very picky... I cannot get him to eat more than a small piece of krill and but he will gobble up the reptomin turtle pellets in a heart beat, any recommendations on what to do? Also, any idea of what kind of “morph” he is and his quality? He was given to me as a super red dragon.
