i have a 6 x 18 x 24 135 gallon tank and I wanted some advice on stocking, I know that I definitely want a silver dat as they’re the smallest dats but what other fish could go with him, I thought about:
Snakeheads
African pike
Eels
Bichirs
Leaf fish
Cichlids
Striped gar
Vampire tertra
Barbs
Catfish
Rope fish
Really just any predator fish but I want the tank to be interesting and entertaining, I would quite like a pike cichlid or amphilophus lyonsi. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Would be a good size tank for a nice pair of pike cichlids. Could put other south American fish with them as well. Atabapo pikes would work, or pretty much any species you wanted in that tank. The largest of the lugubris types might eventually get a little big.
Could put silver dollars and some other mildly aggressive SA cichlids like severums.

Also, amphilophus lyonsi are awesome fish. You could get a group of juveniles and keep a pair or a small harem. 1m 2-3f, however it works out. They would max the tank out for sure, wouldn't put anything other than maybe some large Astyanax tetras with them.
