I wanted to make 125 gallon tank planted with lucky bamboo like forest (something like branches on king of diy diacus pond but not so much on front stocked with 1 oscar (tiger) 1 senegal bichir (dragon ) and 8 silver dollars .what do you think about this set up,is it good ,what would you change ,and how big diy hob filtef of king of diy should i need.

if u dont overdue the bamboo should be fine but sometimes ur O might dart into one and damage himself but it should be fine
Oscar would not enjoy navigating around objects like that and could get beat up, instead get something that likes those conditions, perhaps a compressiceps cichlid?

Ive had Oscars they are notorious tank redecorators. I had a large stone with holes in it that one of my Oscars would wait til lights out and I could hear him push it across the tank. The Bamboo won't last. I also think the sen will always be at risk, depending on genetics most cbs don't get over 10" and it takes forever.
