Why do they look like that ?? Does that happen at a certain size or are they just major low grade fish?
Why do you make comment like that? Does that happen at certain time or are you just lack of common sense to realize those low grade fish were sold in less than 8 hours after they were posted?

Well honestly.. I have a group myself but they are only 3-4 inches .. I haven't seen many pics of older ones . So if eventually they all fade like that then I would like to know.. or I would like to know how to avoid them ever lookiing like that..

Regardless scats are a great fish to own so the buyer will be happy..but I apologize if my question was out of line in some way

Maybe next time ask that question on your own thread in the correct section instead of someone’s sale thread and you wud probably get more info .

When African tigrr scats get big, their stripes will fade a little. if you look closer, you can still see it.

Either way you get a nice greenish grey friendly fish!

They are the holy grail of sschooling fish imo
