Make sure you inspect your tank and do not sign for it if there is a problem. Both times I have had tanks delivered, the truckers were in a big hurry to get away. A lot of bad things can happen from when the tank builder had it shipped and it gets to your house. It probably will be in a couple of pallets all wrapped up or crated up. Take the time to inspect the tank. It will be a real hassle if it is crated, but you had better inspect it. The trucker will probably be very impatient, but he won't leave until you sign for the tank.
We did not inspect our 300 gallon tank. We got it in the house where it sat for a few months. One of the pallets was damaged. When we finally unboxed the tank, there was a major crack in the floor of the tank by the corner of an overflow box. Apparently a forklift tine had come up through the pallet and cracked the tank. It was a really sick feeling to discover a crack in a brand new tank after the tank builder advised us to inspect the tank before accepting delivery.
We had to repair a brand new tank

Fortunately, it was repairable. The builder sent us some Weldon and a piece of acrylic. My husband did a stellar repair job. In fact, it is the only "decoration" in the tank. ... A slab of acrylic would have looked very ugly.
