OK so im seting up a 40b for a dragon puffer

That will be a nice home for a dragon. Cant wait to see pics. Curious too when you get him what you think of its activity levels, etc. Ive heard both sides of it with mostly them being called colorful rocks, lol. That said I would love to have one, they really are nice looking puffers.

I don't keep fish on there activity level just because they don't do much dose not mean its a bad fish.

I have bichirs which are about the laziest fish in the world. I have these in my main living room tank where the activity would be welcomed but they are cool so they stay. My puffer is in a fairly slow area of the house thus I went with a fairly low activity fish.

Nice. You can get a nice size one as well for a decent price. Beautiful puffer and grow to a really good size.

I'm grabbing another 40b this week (pet supplies plus sale). It will probably be next yr though unless something random pops up.

That all depends on you. I have more active fish and then I have these. They all bring different things to the table. A lot of people just have unreal expectations. If you want something active get something active. I wouldn't get something that lurks as a natural behaviour and hope it's active.

An all around great puffer for the money is a figure 8. Beautiful color, smaller size, very interactive and not at a huge risk for dental issues. If you have the money and want something rare go for the spotted congo. If you want to hold true to mfk then step your game up to a fahaka or mbu.

Lurkers bring a whole different look and behaviour you can't get from the above. They're some savages

I love lurkers too, but palembangs ime were the ultimate lurkers as far as activity levels go lol...
