anyone have any ideas what to cover my filter intake up with so it doesn’t suck the fry into my filter if they venture to close gonna see if they are good parents lol

Tie a new knee high around it or aquarium mesh bag for media or sponge.

If I have some that are used how can I make sure thier is no detriment or anything still left in the fabric just soak it or?

If you feel uncomfortable using a knee high just pickup a mesh bag for media at lfs.

I have knee highs but they have been washed as long as I rinse them out real well will it be ok?

Tbh I wouldn't use them only new.

I have Aquaclear's, I bought a couple extra A.C.50 sponges and cut them in half, carved out a section for the filter end to fit into it.


This should work on any hob filter, or any intake really
