Hi, I have two gars in my tank, one Florida Garfish and one Rocket Garfish (Ctenolucius hujeta) and they've always been eating live food. I read that they can also eat frozen food or pellets but none of them will accept it. They only eat food that is mooving. How can I get them to eat other things? Thanks a lot!!

Gotta starve them a bit. Get a powerhead and try throwing in food in the current. Eventually should take.

Hujeta very adaptable, they will eat anything event pelets. My gar never want eat pellets but he like frozen tilapia fillets or prawn
