My convicts laid eggs!!

If you see the male he has to like white marks on him is that where she attacked him or can anyone tell what it is?
 
How long does it take for them to hatch it's been about three days and not Wiggler's yet
 
Yeah every one of the eggs are Amber and they are taking turns gaurding them . The male has already killed one of my fish for venturing too close lol

24-48 hours so hopefully soon and great to hear parents are protecting the eggs. Sorry for your loss.
 
I purposely overstocked a little till I get pairs he was a oddball that stayed by him self and he wasn't very well colored so not that upset about it prolly the smallest male I had that died but thanks for the kind words

Expect to lose the first couple spawns on younger new parents. My Honduran Red Points are on thier 5th spawn now, still ain't got it down.
