One of my LFS just got in a "Rainbow" Wolf Fish. Not sure if its a true rainbow wolf, but if it is, can I keep it with a few species of bichirs, a synodontis eupterus, and some larger cichlids? The biggest fish is the synodontis at 9 inches, the smallest is one of the Bichirs at 4. The wolf is about 3 inches.

Should be fine with bichirs and the catfish. Be cautious with cichlids as don’t mix well with most wolves. Can be kept with large severums and geos as they aren’t too aggressive.
The cichlids don't seem to bother anyone except each other. The tank boss is my Ornate Bichir though. He don't take a chomp from anyone. The Cat used to be until he nipped my Ornate and the Ornate turned on him and took a nice chunk out of the side of the cat (wound has since healed). Now no one bothers him.
One Acei, one P. Polleni, and one Malawi Eyebiter. The size difference between the Wolf and Ornate would be 2 inches. The wolf is the same width as his head, if not a bit wider.
I've had my red for a couple of months and the only time she injured another fish was in self defense. I have a her in with a cat and a bunch of gouramis. Doesn't bother anyone.
The cat was beating on her and she nipped him. That ended the fight really quick. Cat ended up with a pretty nice gash but again it took quite a few bites from the cat before she struck back.
