Black arowana not eating

I picked up a 12inch black arowana from a local seller. Its been around 2 weeks now and it has not eaten anything. I was told by the seller that it ate hikari sticks. The water perimeters are good and swims fine. Any advice?

Throw in some crickets to revamp his appetite

If water is good and swimming around then can wait it out or try some crickets.

Hi ive had mine 3 days and still hasn't ate im hoping hes still just settling in but i could do with advice on the matter aswel thanks.

Throw in some fake plants and leave them at the waters surface, this will help him feel more secure

Just give it a little time. when i got mine it took about a month before it began to eat again. Crickets did the trick.
