I wish that I'd held onto my ST a little bit longer so I could have raked in a few more thousand dollars for it than I sold it for.
I had no idea that their prices would skyrocket a few years later.

1) Those are asking prices from two people
2) That's not how profit is calculated
3) June 2008 was the middle of a severe world-wide recession. Now, markets are at their peak and most economies have recovered and are booming.

This is a luxury good. Nothing unusual about this.

The asking price doesnt mean anything unless it actually sells for that much...

For example, i could have a disposable lighter from say 40 years ago and say its a very rare item and offer it for sale at $100K, but unless someone actually pays me 100K it ain’t actually worth that amount...

So unless you pull up actual sales threads where they were sold for that much, that figure doesnt mean much at all if no one is ever willing to pay that price...

Which seems ro be the case of the 6.5K dat...
