I agree with Andy, especially in a small tank.

If it’s a sand or gravel tank they’ll probably pick at the crumbs in the sand. If it’s bare bottom you’ll just have to clean more

Ok and i seen betta food at the store. You think they would or can eat that?

My 1” Thorichyths manage to eat 1mm pellets I think you could go with 1mm or the .5 I shared.

Feed till they don't eat, then go back and scoop out the excess food with a net. The beauty of bare bottom is you see their **** and food so you clean it more which equals clean water and healthy fish
